Family: Plantaginaceae (Plantain family)

Mid-Atlantic bloom time: April - July

Gray Field Speedwell, a non-native, has somewhat hairy stems and leaves. Its leaves are somewhat dull green with cut edges, and are mostly similar in shape along the stems from base to top. Its flowers are 3–8 mm wide, with pedicels that are significantly longer than its leaf petioles.

Gray Field Speedwell is similar to Field Speedwell (Veronica agrestis), which has fresh-green leaves, the lowermost of which are elongated.
