Moss Phlox is a native that has been highly cultivated as an evergreen perennial that can grow in challenging conditions. It forms mats of leaves that bloom with flowers ranging from white to pink to deep purple or blue. It typically grows on dry sunny rocky substrates, such as barrens and exposed outcrops.
