Yellow Passionflower is a perennial vine that bears showy yellowish-green, fringed flowers with pedicels up to 5 cm long. It has 3-lobed leaves, somewhat similar to the Moonseed (Menispermum canadense) vine; however, that species has both 3-lobed and 5-lobed leaves, not just 3-lobed.
