Slender Yellow Wood-sorrel is an upright perennial with few or no hairs on its stems. Its yellow flowers form at or slightly above its 3-part leaves. Its petals sometime have faint red lines near their base.
Slender Yellow Wood-sorrel is not nearly as weedy as Southern Yellow Wood-sorrel (Oxalis dillenii) and Yellow Wood-sorrel (Oxalis stricta).
