Mid-Atlantic bloom time: June - September
White Water-lily has round leaves with a waxy upper coating that is water-repellent. The leaves float on the water's surface, as do its flowers. The flowers have white petals and prominent yellow stamens. The flowers open each day and close again each night and are very fragrant.
