Mid-Atlantic bloom time: January - December
Little-bell is a fast-growing, vining, annual herb producing long, thin stems with mostly heart-shaped leaves 2.5–6 cm long; It often also produces sharply three-lobed leaves. It has funnel-shaped pink flowers with dark red centers, with a tube expanding in diameter upwards until flaring out. Its sepals are more-or-less equal in length, with pointed tips.
Little-bell is native to the tropics and now found as a weed throughout the southeastern U.S.
