Piedmont Bedstraw leaves are somewhat hairy and grow in whorls of four; they become somewhat reflexed as they age. Its yellow to yellowish-green flowers are tiny, being only 0.51 mm in size. It grows ascending to erect, achieving a length/height of 540 cm. It is usually found on dry, often barren soil in fields, clearings, lawns, and roadsides.
Piedmont Bedstraw is native to Eurasia.
