Wild Comfrey is a perennial plant with long (15-40cm), broad, slightly fuzzy lower leaves that attach to the stalk in an elongated petiole-like form. The base of its upper leaves wrap around the stalk, clasping it. Its flowers are at the top of the central stalk with no leaves above them.
