Autumn Coralroot is the latest blooming of our coralroot orchids. Its flowers may be completely enclosed and self-pollinating (cleistogamous), or it may have some flowers that do open (chasmogamous) and are cross-pollinated. Like other coralroot species, it is non-photosynthetic and relies on fungi to obtain its nutrients.
